Open a Work Order and Review Key Details

This guide walks you through opening a work order, understanding its key details, and navigating the tabs available to review job information before starting work.

Opening a Work Order

Go to Work Orders โ€” From the left navigation menu, click Work Orders to see the full list.

Click the Work Order Code โ€” Click the blue Work Order Code link to open the work order detail view.

Understanding Key Details

Header information โ€” At the top you will see the Work Order Code, title, assigned technician, company, location, due date, and current status.

Left panel โ€” Details โ€” Shows Work Package, Milestone, Account, Priority, Start Date, Date Released, Date Completed, Created Date, Created By, Teams, Asset ID, Boundry, Tags, and Organisation.

Status badge โ€” The coloured status badge (e.g. In Progress, New, Complete) shows where the job currently sits. Click it to update the status.

Navigating the Tabs

Checklist โ€” The job checklist with all mandatory and optional fields to complete on-site.

Actions โ€” Log and review actions taken against this work order.

Inspections โ€” View inspection records associated with this job.

Media โ€” Upload and view reference documents and field photos.

SOR Details โ€” Schedule of Rates detail for this work order.

BOM Details โ€” Bill of Materials associated with the job.

Form โ€” Any forms linked to this work order.

Linked WO โ€” View any work orders linked to this one.

Notes โ€” Add and review notes from all team members.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Before starting on-site, always check the Media tab for reference documents and the Checklist tab for mandatory fields โ€” this avoids delays caused by missing information mid-job.
