Notes let you record important updates, handover information, and site observations directly on a work order. Any user can add notes โ€” but you can only edit or delete your own.

Opening the Notes Tab

Select the work order โ€” From the Work Orders list, click the Work Order Code to open it.

Click the Notes tab โ€” In the tab bar at the top of the work order, click Notes.

Adding a Note

Click into the Enter Notes field โ€” Click the text field at the top of the Notes panel to start typing.

Type your note โ€” Enter any relevant information such as site observations, follow-up actions, or handover details.

Click Add โ€” Press the Add button to save the note. It will appear in the notes list stamped with your name and the date and time.

Editing a Note

Click the Edit (pencil) icon โ€” Next to any note you have authored, click the pencil icon to open it for editing. You can only edit your own notes.

Revise the text โ€” Update the note content as needed.

Click Update โ€” Press Update to save your changes.

Deleting a Note

Click the Bin (delete) icon โ€” Next to any note you have authored, click the bin icon to delete it. You can only delete your own notes.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Use notes to record anything not captured in the checklist โ€” access issues, instructions for the next technician, or follow-up actions required after job completion.
