Reference Media is used to attach supporting documents — such as invoice templates, site plans, or instructions — to a work order so field teams have everything they need before starting the job.

Opening the Media Tab

Select the work order — From the Work Orders list, click the Work Order Code to open it.

Click the Media tab — In the tab bar, click Media. The tab opens with two sub-sections: Reference and Field. You will be on Reference by default.

Viewing Reference Media

Reference Media table — All reference files are listed here, showing Media Name, Upload Date, Uploaded By, and Media Type.

Downloading a Reference File

Click the more options icon (⋮) — Click the three-dot icon next to the file you want to download.

Select Download — The file will download to your device immediately.

Deleting a Reference File

Click the more options icon (⋮) — Click the three-dot icon next to the file you want to remove.

Select Delete — A confirmation dialog will appear.

Confirm deletion — Click Delete to permanently remove the file.

Click Save — Press Save to apply all changes.

💡 Tip: Upload reference files before publishing a work order — this ensures field techs and subcontractors have the correct documents available as soon as the job is assigned.
