Before a work order can be marked Complete, the checklist must be 100% filled in. This guide walks you through updating the status and resolving any mandatory field errors.
Opening the Work Order
Click the Work Order Code — From the Work Orders list, click the code of the work order you want to update. This opens the work order detail view.
Updating the Status
Open the Status badge — Click the current status badge (e.g. In Progress) at the top of the work order to open the status dropdown.
Select your next stage — Choose the appropriate status. To close the job, select Complete.
Completing Mandatory Checklist Fields
Mandatory fields warning — If the checklist is not 100% complete, you will see: "Please complete all mandatory fields." Close the message and return to the Checklist tab to finish filling it in.
Check the completion progress bar — The bar at the top of the checklist shows your percentage complete. All sections must reach 100% before the work order can be completed.
Click Save — Once all mandatory fields are filled, click Save to store your checklist. The progress bar will update to 100%.
Marking the Work Order Complete
Open the Status badge again — Now that the checklist is 100% complete, click the Status badge and select Complete to officially mark the work order as finished.
💡 Tip: Always check the progress bar before attempting to complete a work order. If any mandatory field is missing, the system will block completion until it's resolved.
