A major release across web and mobile: fully customisable PDF report layouts, a new Context Panel for instant work order visibility, bulk downloads with PDF merge, Views and Claims arriving on mobile, and significant speed improvements across the platform.

Your reports, your way. Every template now has fully customisable PDF layouts — you decide exactly what appears in the reports you send to clients, and how they look.

Open any template and switch to the PDF tab to start designing:

Granular control over every section. Toggle on or off exactly what you want in the report — linked work order details, actions, inspection results, photos and media, notes, answered questions, and signatures. Want a clean client-facing report without unanswered questions? Switch them off.

Your branding, front and centre. Add your company logo and a cover page image, choose thumbnail sizes, photo resolution, and page size (A4 or US Letter) — all with a live preview so you can see exactly what your client will receive.

Multiple layouts per template. Create as many layouts as you need — for example, a detailed Internal PDF for your team and a polished External layout for clients — and set which one is the default.

Switch layouts on the fly. When viewing any inspection, use the Report layout button to pick a layout before generating the PDF. The default layout can also be configured in your project settings under PDF Layout Settings.

Behind the scenes, we've also rebuilt the entire reporting engine from the ground up — it now comfortably handles hundreds of report generations and downloads at once, so large batches come through fast and reliably.

See everything about a work order without leaving your grid. The new Context Panel shows you the actions, claims, and inspections pending and completed against any work order — at a glance.

Click the panel icon next to any work order number in the grid:

The panel opens with key information — type, assignee, due date, location — plus a live summary of actions, claims, and inspections, all without losing your place in the list:

Downloading reports and media just got a serious upgrade — built to handle hundreds of work orders at once.

Merge PDFs or download individually. Select multiple inspections and choose Merge PDF to combine them into a single document, or download them as individual files — perfect for month-end client submissions.

New download menu in work orders. The Download menu at the top of every work order now gives you precise toggles — choose PDF, media, or both, include checklists, tasks and reference media, and even pull in data from linked work orders.

Media downloads have been completely re-architected too — bulk media downloads across hundreds of work orders are now fast and dependable.

Client defects raised through WOMS / NBN defect uploads now automatically create defect Actions in Colobbo — no manual re-entry. The moment a defect lands, it appears as an Action against the right work, ready to be assigned and resolved. Nothing slips through the cracks between systems.

Your work order views now travel with you. Start on desktop, switch to your phone, and pick up exactly where you left off — the same views, perfectly in sync across web and mobile.

Your views appear as tabs at the top of the work order list, with full filtering and grouping:

All your views, one tap away. Open All Views to see every view you have — tick the ones you want as tabs on your screen, and manage them from the same place:

Create views on your phone. Name it, add filters, choose the fields you want visible — and it instantly appears in your web app too (and vice versa):

Filter with custom fields. Just like on the web, mobile views support filtering on standard and custom fields — so your "NSW installs due this week" view works identically wherever you open it:

Subcontractors can now view, create, and submit claims straight from their phone — no desktop required to get paid for completed work.

Find the new SOR button at the top right of any work order:

See where every dollar stands. The SOR Details tab shows every schedule-of-rates item on the work order — what's been claimed, what's approved, what's still pending, and the total value when complete:

Create and submit claims in the field. Creating a claim shows all pending SOR items with quantities and running totals — enter your current claim, then Save Draft or Submit. Approvers can approve the claim right from their phone too:

Track claim status at a glance. The Claims tab shows every claim against the work order with its status — submitted, approved, and adjustment claims — with claimed and approved totals side by side:

On the web, Inspections, Templates, Bookings and Schedules now load significantly faster. Long lists appear instantly and load more as you scroll — no more waiting for hundreds of records before you can start working.

On mobile, the same speed boost applies across Templates, Inspections, Actions, Bookings and Schedules. Boots on Ground screens now appear instantly and load content as you go — no more staring at a spinner in the field.

Asset lookups are instant. Asset lookup fields now respond immediately, even against large asset registers — find and select the right asset without the lag.

Notifications now show the full picture. Some notifications were previously arriving with missing details. Every notification now displays complete information — work order numbers, names, and values — with clearer, more specific messaging so you know exactly what happened without opening the app.
