Notes let you record important updates, handover information, and site observations directly on a work order. Any user can add notes โ but you can only edit or delete your own.
Opening the Notes Tab
Select the work order โ From the Work Orders list, click the Work Order Code to open it.
Click the Notes tab โ In the tab bar at the top of the work order, click Notes.
Adding a Note
Click into the Enter Notes field โ Click the text field at the top of the Notes panel to start typing.
Type your note โ Enter any relevant information such as site observations, follow-up actions, or handover details.
Click Add โ Press the Add button to save the note. It will appear in the notes list stamped with your name and the date and time.
Editing a Note
Click the Edit (pencil) icon โ Next to any note you have authored, click the pencil icon to open it for editing. You can only edit your own notes.
Revise the text โ Update the note content as needed.
Click Update โ Press Update to save your changes.
Deleting a Note
Click the Bin (delete) icon โ Next to any note you have authored, click the bin icon to delete it. You can only delete your own notes.
๐ก Tip: Use notes to record anything not captured in the checklist โ access issues, instructions for the next technician, or follow-up actions required after job completion.
