In Colobbo, claims live inside each work order, on the "SOR Details" tab, in "Claims History". There is no separate Claims menu. You create a claim, submit it, an administrator assesses and approves it, and you can revert a Draft or Submitted claim if you need to undo it.

Claims aren't available on child work orders.

Where do I find claims?

  1. Open the work order.

  2. Go to the "SOR Details" tab.

  3. Find "Claims History".

Claims History has these columns: Claim No, Date Submitted, Date Approved, Bill No, Bill Status, Approved and Claimed amounts, and Status. Technicians see fewer columns. If there are none yet, you'll see "No claims submitted yet."

What do the claim statuses mean?

A claim can be Draft, Submitted, Approved, Partially Approved, RCTI Generated or RCTI Paid.

How do I create a claim on the web?

  1. On the "SOR Details" tab, select "Create Claim". The "Create Claim" panel opens.

  2. Choose Save, Save & Close or Submit.

Administrators also get "Submit & Approve" and a "Create & Approve" button.

Which buttons appear on each claim?

  • Draft: Edit, Revert.

  • Submitted: administrators see Assess, Edit, Revert. Non-administrators see View.

  • Approved: administrators see View, Adjustment.

  • Other statuses: View.

How do I approve a claim? (administrators)

  1. In Claims History, find the Submitted claim and press Assess. "Assess Claim" opens.

How do I undo a claim?

Revert is for Draft or Submitted claims. It permanently removes the claim and restores the quantities, so you'll be asked to confirm first.

  1. In Claims History, find the claim and press Revert.

  2. Confirm when asked.

After a claim is approved, corrections are made with an Adjustment claim instead. Press Adjustment on the Approved claim. The adjustment starts as a Draft.

What can I do with claims on the phone?

  • Create a claim with "Save Draft" or "Submit". Administrators also get "Approve" and "Submit & Approve".

  • Edit or Revert a Draft claim.

  • View other claims.

  • Add an Adjustment to an approved claim.

Assessing or approving a submitted claim isn't available on the phone yet, so use the web app.

What do administrators and technicians see?

Administrators

  • Extra buttons when creating: "Submit & Approve" and "Create & Approve".

  • Assess on Submitted claims, and Adjustment on Approved claims.

  • All Claims History columns.

Technicians

  • Fewer Claims History columns.

  • View on Submitted claims instead of Assess.
